Supply Chain & Logistics Pathway
The Supply Chain & Logistics pathway at the Pike Career and STEM Center is designed for students who are curious about how products move around the world. From raw materials to finished goods in consumers’ hands, students explore every step of the supply chain, including manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. This pathway helps students understand the systems that keep businesses and economies running.
Students learn how technology, data, and global events impact supply chain operations. Through hands-on classroom experiences and real-world scenarios, they develop skills in forecasting, logistics planning, problem-solving, and efficiency management. The program partners with a local supply chain business to provide students with authentic, industry-based learning experiences.
Students in this pathway have opportunities to earn:
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)
- Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)
- Ivy Tech Dual Credit (College Credit)
- Hands-on, in-class experience with industry partners
These certifications give students a competitive advantage and prepare them for both immediate employment and continued education in logistics, business, and operations management.
